How to Create a Lesson in Tiny
You can prepare and launch a lesson with Tinybots in a few minutes, in three different ways. Let the Tiny Guide prepare it for you, pick a ready-made lesson from the library, or build it yourself from scratch. This short video walks you through all three options step by step. You'll also see how to launch the activity with your students and what you can do with the lesson afterwards.
What you'll see in the video
The video shows three ways to bring Tinybots into your lessons:
- With the Tiny Guide: Right after signing in, you type what you want to cover and with whom. The guide first looks for a ready-made lesson in the library. If it doesn't find one, it suggests a new assignment and a suitable Tinybot, and adds the lesson straight to your chosen class.
- From the lesson library: Choose a ready-made lesson from your own library, from lessons shared by colleagues or from the Tiny library, add it to an existing or new class, and launch it.
- From scratch: Create a class and a lesson and add an activity with the Tinybot of your choice. Fill in the topic, goal and instructions for the chatbot. Tiny's teacher materials can help.
- Launching the activity: Share the four-digit code with your students and start the activity with the Play button. You can also pause it or save it for later.
- Working with a finished lesson: You can edit a lesson, share it with colleagues, copy it for other classes or delete it.
